React before it’s too late!

FLARM is the collision warning system for general aviation and drones. With a built-in FLARM, you are informed of nearby air traffic in good time and warned of dangerous collisions. So you can react before it’s too late!

Over 60,000 manned aircraft and countless drones are already equipped with FLARM, and the number is growing every day. FLARM devices are offered by various manufacturers – for motorised aircraft, helicopters, gliders and drones.

How FLARM works

Each FLARM device continuously measures its position and flight direction using an in-built GPS receiver. This data is used to derive the future flight path, which is transmitted every second via digital radio. Other FLARM devices in the vicinity receive these data packets and compare the flight path with their own. If a conflict is detected, the pilot is notified in good time. FLARM only warns if there is an actual danger in order to avoid unnecessary distraction.

PowerFLARM Fusion is a modern and robust FLARM device for installation in general aviation aircraft. It is based on the latest PowerFLARM technology and can be easily configured and maintained via the FLARM Hub app for iOS and Android. Fusion is ideal for modernising older installations with PowerFLARM Core.
