Drones are fulfilling increasingly important tasks such as inspecting power lines or surveying. However, they are difficult to see from the air – the safe integration of drones into shared airspace is therefore a major challenge. In the near future, drones will also be operated beyond visual range and completely autonomously, allowing them to fly anywhere and at any time.
